Winter in Sydney

So we have had a windy and wild weathered weekend here in Sydney. The waves have been crashing into the harbour beach relentlessly, the boats have been bobbing in the bay and our below neighbours balcony doors have rattled nonstop. It's the best kind of weather for snuggling up indoors and being generally unproductive. Nick and I have drunk countless cups of ginger & lemon tea, I've almost read all of 'Orange is the new black' and can safely say I am very well rested for the week ahead.

Yesterday brought my beautiful third cousin from the east. She weathered the storm and joined us for our first Chur Burger experience at Manly Wharf. I opted for the pulled pork as its on the top 50 dishes to eat in Sydney - and it was delicious, especially the brioche buns. We followed these up with a standard Barefoot coffee and wandered through the Midnight Oil exhibition - then tea in the flat with fairy lights. Nick and I later headed to the Cremorne Orpheum to see a film and had a picnic whilst watching.

Today brought a lovely sleep in and an exciting camera purchase for our upcoming travels, and not much else.
